Open Letter from Head Coach Clemson Dabo Swinney to fans after accepting a new 10-year contract with Clemson.

The Clemson family,

I want to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to each and every one of you! I'm incredibly lucky to be part of this great university and to be passionate about the Clemson family – what a privilege.

The importance and scope of Clemson's financial commitment has not failed me, and to be honest, it's undeniably humiliating. I am truly honored to be your head coach of football and I am grateful to be able to continue to lead the best student athletes in the world.

It's amazing how much we've progressed in the last decade – how united we are. Our success is a direct result of strong leadership, unity and alignment in all areas. Our Board of Directors, led by President Smyth McKissick, President Clements, Director of Sports Dan Radakovich and Graham Neff, deputy director of sports, are the best in the industry. Their partnership and friendship are important to me. Our program does not reach the level of championship we have achieved without their unwavering support and dedication. I am so grateful for their continued faith and trust in me. With this new agreement, we all wanted to collectively declare that we remain #ALLIN with our vision and our culture. I am convinced that's what we did.

In addition to the administration, I would like to thank the entire Clemson family – fans, staff, student athletes and community members – who helped us build, maintain and develop our Clemson Football culture. Everyone who touches Clemson football has been and remains essential to our success.

Kath and I feel so lucky that the Lord has blessed us to be part of this incredible community. Our boys attended Clemson elementary schools, colleges, high schools and colleges. Very few head coaches have the opportunity to experience this kind of stability and support, and we do not take it for granted.

Last season, our team put together a historic season that we called "best of all times", but as I said recently to our 2019 team, the 2018 team was the best of all the times … to date. I am proud of our program, what we represent and what we have accomplished, and I am even more proud to say that, more than ever before, the best is yet to come. The last decade has been a blast and I look forward to seeing what awaits us over the next decade. Go tigers!

#ALLIN

YOUR THANK YOU Football Head Coach,

Dabo Swinney
