The father of a 9-year-old Michigan girl would have quarreled with a neighbor about the correct fencing of her three pit bulls in her yard a few days before the dogs would come off and kill his daughter, according to the information.
Claudia Stapleton, Emma Hernandez's aunt, told WDIV that the girl's father, Armando Hernandez, had confronted his neighbor about his three "stray" dogs, but nothing had been done. The dogs reportedly slipped through the neighbor's dilapidated fence and allegedly attacked Hernandez as she was driving her motorcycle behind her home in Detroit on Monday.
Armando Herandez told WWJ that the neighbor, who has not been identified publicly, did not take care of his dogs. He also claimed that the police knew how he treated his dogs before Monday's fatal incident.

"Last year, in November 2017, the police went out and reported on it, but she did not respond to her complaint. The dogs remained cowardly, wild, and the guy did not feed them. Poor dogs, you know, I do not blame them, "he told reporters.
Neighbors would have fought the girl's dogs by throwing bricks at them – and even firing shots. The control animals seized the three dogs and they will probably be euthanized, according to reports.
Despite the efforts of neighbors, relatives and emergency teams, Emma Hernandez was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Although the dog's owner was arrested Monday night, he was not charged with a crime. According to the WWJ, the Wayne County Attorney's Office is expected to make a decision on Thursday on criminal charges.
