Daffney Unger, former professional wrestler, died at 46

Shannon Spruill, former professional wrestler named Daffney Unger, has passed away, women’s professional wrestling SHIMMER said in a statement Thursday.

Spruill was 46 years old. The cause of death was not immediately revealed.

Georgia Police were looking for Spruill after posting video that had other wrestlers and fans worried about his well-being.

“You don’t understand that I’m on my own,” Spruill said, crying during a live Instagram show on Wednesday.

Spruill is best known for her appearances in World Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action throughout the 2000s.
