Scoring 269 yards and three touchdowns, Prescott opened 18 finals, including 14 after half-time, to lead the Cowboys to 31 points. It's understandable that the athletes do not notice these things at the moment, but even Prescott acknowledged that he might have felt a difference.

When asked if he had ever seen Prescott play so well in a two-game series, Jones had a joke ready to put everything in perspective.
"Well, I'm not sure I've seen it with the Dallas Cowboys," he says. "They have a statue for him in Mississippi State, so he might have had back-to-back games there that we have not seen."
It is still incredibly early in the season. Prescott himself stated that he knew that adversity would arise at some point. But at Jones' joke, it's hard to ignore the fact that Prescott raised his college program to new heights during his stay at Mississippi State.
If he keeps up this momentum, he might be able to do the same in Dallas.
