Victoria Police are “currently evaluating” a video circulating on social media of Mr Andrews walking through a parking lot in Melbourne without a mask on Thursday.

The footage, captured by a Channel Seven reporter, shows Mr Andrews approaching his press conference behind Parliament without a mask.
In a statement to news.com.au, Mr Andrews said he would be happy to pay a fine if he was found to have done something wrong – and admitted that there may have been a ” forgetfulness “on his part.

“Maybe he could just apologize at the press conference, say he made a mistake… and donate $ 200 to charity.

In Victoria, anyone aged 12 and over must wear a fitted face mask every time they leave their home, indoors or outdoors, with some legal exceptions. This includes:
