The first passes of Daniel Jones in Giants uniform are in the book.
It was a training jersey in a minicamp rookie throw to a group that included free agents, but it was a start for choice number 6 just a week after his selection.
Apparently, Eli Manning's heir, Jones, wore number 8 while he was officially introduced to the Giants facilities on Friday, alongside Dexter Lawrence and Deandre Baker. The first full day of minicamp included meetings, installation of the game book, a virtual tour, and then the first workout.
Jones and the other Giants recruits will again be training on Saturday, their last action before the OTA starting later this month.
