Flowers and Daniels were undergoing rehabilitation to start training camp and Harrison was on the non-football list. The flowers returned to practice just before the Lions' trip to Houston, Harrison was removed from NFI in Houston and Daniels returned to practice this week.

"It feels good," said Daniels after returning to the football field after recovering from a foot injury. "It's really good and I'm really excited. I really enjoy everything here.

It only remains a little more than two weeks before the start of the regular season, so it is essential to know each other and see how they play together.

"It's really important to have chemistry and understand each other when you play," Flowers said. "Knowing how others play and whether you will play them, if you have a bigger guy inside or a smaller, faster guy inside. Just knowing that and understanding how everyone plays is essential.

Flowers said it was this week that the three players are back on the training ground. He says that they are going in the right direction. Daniels said the initial chemistry of all defensive linemen was good.
