Danny Ainge believes Kyrie Irving will sign again if the Celtics trade against Anthony Davis

Danny Ainge still wants the Boston Celtics to sign Kyrie Irving again and he thinks he'll succeed there when he's negotiating against Anthony Davis.

The Celtics were once considered the favorites to trade against Davis, but their assets have become less attractive in recent months. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have slowed down in their development as a first-round pick of the Sacramento Kings has dropped to 14th place and that a pick of the Memphis Grizzlies has not yet been released.

The New Orleans pelicans also won the lottery, which could reopen the door for Davis to remain in the franchise and be paired with Zion Williamson.

The Boston season has ended with a defeat of the five-game series against the Milwaukee Bucks because of the tension on the makeup.

Irving should also consider the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers.
