Danny Green: The Raptors let slip the first match

Danny Green thinks the Toronto Raptors had the first game of the Eastern Conference finals in their hands and let him go on Wednesday night.

The Raptors led after the first quarter, at half-time, and were seven more in the fourth quarter. But they struggled to score late, only Kyle Lowry went down and dropped from 108 to 100.

Green was part of the team and let him go. He missed two three-point attempts, a free throw and a turnover in the last two and a half minutes of the game. He shot 1 on 5 and made three turnovers in 35 minutes.

The Bucks won despite only 39.8% success on the field and 25% success with three. It was a great opportunity for Toronto to play a game on the road, but they failed in the end. Maybe their limited rotation and the heavy burden of their starters (four players played at least 40 minutes) made them tired. In comparison, Milwaukee starters averaged only 32.5 minutes of play. Star Giannis Antetokounmpo was well rested and dominated the game at 37 minutes.

The Raptors may end up being too malnourished to survive a full series against the talented and deep Bucks.
