The Black Knight gets up again.

Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy will be screened in Imax in five cities as part of Warner Bros.'s 80th anniversary celebration. Pictures of the first appearance of Batman in comics.

The screenings will begin March 30 with performances of "Batman Begins", "The Dark Knight" in 2008, and "The Dark Knight Rises" in 2012 at Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk Hollywood. Nolan will make an appearance for a moderated discussion with questions / answers.

The trilogy will be screened April 13 at AMC Lincoln Square in New York and at AMC Metreon in San Francisco. On April 20, the three films will be presented at Cinesphere Ontario Place in Toronto and the Imax Theater at the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis. The four performances will be accompanied by images of Nolan's appearance in Los Angeles.

The projections will be in Imax 70mm format. Nolan was the first filmmaker to shoot the action sequences of a major feature film with Imax cameras in "The Dark Knight."

"Christopher Nolan broke new ground with the Dark Knight trilogy, and it's a rare opportunity for today's audiences to experience these extraordinary films as they were meant to be," said Jeff Goldstein, president of the cast. National Warner Bros. "Having the added privilege of hearing Chris's observations in person, this makes it a unique opportunity in a lifetime."

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday at 9am. The stars, with Christian Bale, brought in $ 2.5 billion at the global box office.
