Dark mode has taken over: the latest developments of this battery saving feature

There is a lot of hype around dark mode, a simple toggle that lets you change the background color of a black application window. Some simply like it for aesthetic reasons and because it allows a slightly personalized look compared to the default design. Others find it easier on the eyes, especially at night or in a dark room.
