Dark mode without hack is now available for everyone with Chrome 74

Google has been working for over six months on a dark native mode for Google Chrome. Today, with the release of Chrome 74.0.3729.108, this feature is finally available to all.

Google Chrome has started testing the feature for some users with Chrome 73, but with Chrome 74, you simply need to turn on dark mode on your PC (Settings> Personalization> Choose Default Application Mode> Dark) to that the Chrome browser also turns black.

Even though it was still possible to have a dark theme on Chrome, the dark mode also makes the settings, menus, new tab page and other dark chrome browser functions dark.

Of course, Microsoft should also support dark mode in its new Chromium-based Edge browser, but Google's Chrome browser now supports the Windows theme system a bit better than the latest Microsoft browser.
