The "X-Men" movie series, as we know it, ends with "Dark Phoenix", although it undoubtedly comes back in a form reset someday under Marvel's watch.
Since the merger between Disney and Fox has become official, fans are wondering when Fox characters, like Wolverine and the X-Men, will join the MCU, created at Disneyland. At the "Avengers: Endgame" press conference, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said, "It'll take a while" before seeing the X-Men integration.
So, with one of the oldest film franchises coming to an end, and with the X-Men introduced a little before Marvel introduced them into the MCU, "Dark Phoenix" is a memorable event.
