Dauntless launches Frost Escalation with the latest update

Phoenix Labs released a brand new update in Intrepid This week, Frost Escalation has been added with a new Hunt Pass. The technical name being 1.5.3 adds a ton of new content with the new Realm of Ice Hunt Pass, as well as a new threat for the Slayers to face in the Urska. We have the details below as the update is ready to download right now.

• GEL CLIMBING: The permafrost began to melt, revealing fragments of an ancient past… and awakening something deep in the ice. Fight through the frozen lands of Skaldeskar with the help of its warrior queen, Linnea Silver, and seek the Urska in a new escalation. But beware… any trip through Skaldeskar carries a risk of frostbite: a crippling condition that can freeze a Slayer in its tracks.
• URSKA: The Behemoth, the keystone of Frost Escalation, is the Urska – a nightmare taken from the pages of Skaldish legend. Collect coins from Urska in Frost Escalation to forge new legendary weapons and armor. These powerful pieces of frost come with a new legendary ability (for weapons) and a new perk (for armor). You can also unlock a full cosmetic variant through the Frost Escalation talent tree.
• REALM OF ICE HUNT PASS: February 4 also launches a new Intrepid Hunt Pass: Ice Kingdom. Upgrade to Elite to unlock access to two sets of otherworldly armor: the Frost Shaper (level 1) and the Paladin of Vylmark (level 50). Inspired by the iridescent lights of the polar dawn, these pieces will shine in any collection.
• NEW RUMORS: Speak to Honest Ozz and learn about two new rumors. Don the heat of the sun itself by unlocking the Searing Dawn helmet skin from “A Vision of Fire”. If the dark of night is more your style, complete the rumored “Shadow Boxing” for the Thorns of Dusk attackers skin.
