Dave Chappelle has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The stand-up star, 47, broke the news just before her comedy show began on Thursday. Chappelle had since canceled her upcoming appearances, a spokeswoman said.
Chappelle was scheduled to perform Thursday through Sunday at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, Texas. Those shows have been canceled and Chappelle is in quarantine, her rep Carla Sims said in a statement. The actor is asymptomatic.

Chappelle had performed socially distant shows in Ohio since June and moved his shows to Austin over the winter, Sims said.
Chappelle tested positive for the coronavirus just before his comedy show scheduled for Thursday, January 21, forcing his upcoming appearances to be canceled, a spokeswoman said.

Rapid tests for the public and daily tests for Chappelle and his team have been put in place.
Comedian Joe Rogan was scheduled to perform at the Friday and Saturday shows. He apologized on Instagram to subscribers for the canceled shows, saying they would be postponed.
