PHOENIX – David Peralta's Scott Alexander scored Eduardo Escobar for the third goal as the D-backs left the Dodgers 3-2 in 11 innings on Wednesday afternoon at Chase Field to score the victories of LA
Escobar led the 11th with a triple from the wall in the center and the Dodgers walked intentionally to Ketel Marte to bring Peralta.
With this win, the D-backs saved the last game of the three-game series with the Dodgers and finished their match with a 3-3 record.
The D-backs appeared to be about to finish for the third time in a row, beating the score to 2-0 after three innings played by Los Angeles starter Kenta Maeda at the helm.
A fourth-quarter Peralta double, however, scored Jarrod Dyson and halved the Dodgers' lead.
Then, in eighth place, Tim Locastro started a rally with a withdrawal and was hit by a throw. It's the tenth time that he's hit this year at his 66th appearance at the plate.
After Locastro was second on a losing ground, he came home when Dyson scored a double on the first baseline to tie at 2.
