‘Days Gone’ Headlines April’s Free PlayStation Plus Game Series

Sony has revealed the April lineup of PlayStation Plus games, which includes a recent first-party offering. Days gone was met with a lukewarm response at first, but Bend Studio’s survival horror game has found a solid fan base, especially after a few welcome updates.

Days gone is a notable addition to the rotation, but for PS5 owners, that’s moot. The game is part of the PlayStation Plus Collection, a great set of PS4 games that subscribers with the latest console can access at no additional cost. Days gone is also coming to PC this spring.

Sony previously noted that the April free PS Plus game for PS5 would be Oddworld: Soul Storm. Zombie Army 4: Dead War complete the last batch. Subscribers can claim them between April 6 and May 3.

Before these games make the list, you still have a few days to catch the titles currently on offer: Final Fantasy VII remake, Model (PS5 only), Remainder: ashes, Farpoint (PSVR) and PS5 game AllStars Destruction. You have until April 5 to add them for free to your library.

Meanwhile, Sony is launching the Play at Home promotion again this year with free games for everyone. You don’t need a PS Plus membership to claim them. Today is the last day to pick up the 2016 Ratchet and Clank for free – Insomniac freshly published a patch that allows the game to run at 60 frames per second on PS5.

There are other solid games to be won through Play at Home including The witness, Enter the Gungeon, Subnautica and Thumper. You will also be able to recover Horizon: Zero Dawn free from April 19.
