As you can see, the DC Fandome trailer gives us our first good look at Dwayne Johnson up close as Shazam! nemesis Black Adam, and he looks like … well, Dwayne Johnson in a black suit. What were we really expecting? We also get to see Pierce Brosnan, who will play Doctor Fate alongside Black Adam in this 2022 feature film.
There’s a teaser for “The Batman,” with Robert Pattinson and his Catwoman co-star Zoë Kravitz showing up to create a buzz about the fan event. Pictures on set include Jason Momoa in a cave for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” and Ezra Miller in the Batcave (but which one ???), promising to make a splash with “The Flash”.
Other confirmed titles to be presented will include (but not limited to) “DC League of Super-Pets” and “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” on the film side; The CW series “Batwoman”, “Superman & Lois” and “DC’s Stargirl”; “Gotham Knights” and “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” video games, and more.
Warner Bros. Animation will present its upcoming limited series “Aquaman: King of Atlantis”, season 3 of the adult animated comedy series “Harley Quinn” and a preview of the upcoming series “Batman: Caped Crusader”, and will also offer fans a preview from “Young Justice: Phantoms”. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is previewing two direct-to-video DC animated films: R-rated “Injustice” and the heist movie inspired by the anime “Catwoman: Hunted”.
DC FanDome will begin at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET on October 16, 2021.
