Warner Bros. Pictures has released the trailer for DC Fandome: Hall of Heroes, scheduled for August 22 on the event’s website. There was tons of teasing from the big names attending from Dwayne Johnson (who plays the titular character in “Black Adam”) to Matt Reeves (director of “The Batman) to new looks on the upcoming” Shazam “movie.
In the wake of this preview, DC Fandome also revealed that they will be dividing the virtual experience of its original one-day plan into two separate events, with the first taking place on Saturday and the second taking place on September 12.
Hall of Heroes will feature eight hours of new content, ranging from panels to special programming centered around some of DC Universe’s biggest blockbuster movies, comics, shows, and games. Exclusive images and previews of upcoming films will also be included in the program.
The trailer shows brief clips starring stars like Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman in the upcoming “Wonder Woman 1984” movie, and Grant Gustin, whose Flash version has been airing on The CW since 2014. His virtual scene was designed and drawn by comic book artist Jim Lee.
Rocksteady Studios teased a possible Suicide Squad Video Game which will be announced during DC Fandome, and director James Gunn has tweeted that fans will be offered a preview of an upcoming Suicide Squad movie.
The event will run for 24 hours, with the eight hours of content looping twice more. Hall of Heroes will not be available online after the event has ended. Spectators can access events on both dates from a mobile device, laptop or desktop.
The Explore the Multiverse event on September 12 will offer access to five distinct types of content, categorized into islands: WatchVerse, KidsVerse, InsiderVerse, FunVerse, and YouVerse. The KidsVerse will also be offered on a separate website without access to the other four islands.
