Dead & Company is the latest act to force proof of vaccination on their upcoming 2021 tour, which kicks off next week in Raleigh, NC.
Participants must provide either proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test within 48 hours of the shows. The group also went further by detailing the new protocols for the pit: GA ticket holders must present proof, otherwise they will be relegated to a ‘no-pit’ seat entrance – even if they have a negative Covid test. .
The new protocols extend to most of the group’s dates, from August 16 in Raleigh, North Carolina, to three nights at the Hollywood Bowl until Halloween. However, several shows will receive separate policies to be announced shortly, listed in bold below.
Dead & Company joins several acts implementing this mandate as the Delta variant spreads; over the past few days, the bleachers, Jason Isbell and others have put in place new policies, while others have canceled or postponed their plans to get back on the road.
