A continuation of the favorite worship of 2010 Deadly premonition is finally on the way and will be released on Nintendo Switch. Deadly Premonition 2: A blessing in disguise was announced tonight with a brief trailer at Nintendo Direct.
The sequel will follow FBI agent Aaliyah Davis while she was investigating an old serial killer case in Boston. Aaliyah's new case also has a connection to a 14-year affair in New Orleans that was the subject of an investigation by FBI agent Francis York Morgan, the protagonist of the first match. Players will control the two characters, it seems, as their stories intersect and reveal clues about their respective cases.
Switch players who missed the first game when the game is released will still be able to catch up. A new version of the original game, called The mortal origins of premonition, will be available on the Nintendo eShop Wednesday night, some time after the Nintendo Direct.
Life premonition 2 should be released on Nintendo Switch in 2020.
