KISSIMMEE, Florida – A man died after being hit in the face by a stranger who interfered in an argument that he had with his wife at a restaurant in central Florida.
Orlando TV WKMG reports that Srikanth's "Shrik" Srinivasan's wife said she was clinically deadly brain-dead and was removed from her survival system the next day.
Barbara Srinivasan said that she and her husband were chatting in the restaurant on Tuesday night when Benjamin Hernandez confronted him in the way he spoke to her. She added that Hernandez then struck Srinivasan in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head against the ground.
Barbara Srinivasan says that she has never asked Hernandez to get involved.
The booking report from an Orange County Sheriff's Office indicates that Hernandez is accused of aggravated battery. The court records do not have a lawyer registered in its place.
