Deathloop on PS5 is full of innovative ways to kill people

Death loop has some of Arkane Studios’ most kinetic levels to date. Yes, they are beautiful to see and a joy to browse, but their best quality can be a bit more subtle. They have proven to be perfect labs for players to experiment with ever more vile and fun ways to kill unsuspecting NPCs, as well as each other.

In addition to powers like invisibility and teleportation, Death loop players have at their disposal an arsenal of upgrades that allow them to commit truly intelligent and entertaining killings. And thanks to the game’s PVP invasions, players also got the opportunity to test their deadly repertoire on unsuspecting strangers.

My favorite is the Shift Slab upgrade, which lets you swap slots with someone else, and which threw plenty of Colt and Julianna from the walls of Blackreef into the subarctic abyss below:

Karnesis is also awesome, which this player used to levitate an Eternalist three stories into the air and then to his doom:

Death loop is also full of clever environmental puzzles that wipe out entire crowds when solved. Perhaps you came across the boxes of food set up like dominoes while playing, which I still never tire of triggering:

Others, however, are more subtle, like attaching a grenade to one of the Eternalists in Karl’s Bay, then throwing him in a dry dock:

In fact, it turns out you can stick grenades on all kinds of things and watch controlled mayhem ensue. Here someone stuck one to a rocket:

You can also attach them to bottles and then throw the bottles away:

Or, like in this insanely evil example, you can attach a grenade to the Aleksis sound recording doll collected during the 2-Bit mission in Updaam and throw it directly in Julianna’s face:

One player gave up on the grenades completely and managed to kill the invisible visionary Egor simply by hitting them on the head with a briefcase. This should be great for the game’s ‘seamless loop’:

These murders have, for the most part, all been quite aggressive, but despite being a shooter, Death loop has a lot of stealth. So to conclude, please enjoy YouTuber StealthGamerBRthe all new smooth and masterful murder reel from:

I don’t know who’s better at it: StealthGamerBR or Arkane.
