Dee Anderson will not play for LSU in 2019

LSU senior wide receiver Dee Anderson did not take part in the team's fall camp, head coach Ed Orgeron telling the media that Anderson had been indefinitely suspended from the team.

"He had some preparations to make," Orgeron said on Aug. 2.

More than a month later, LSU starts a 2-0 season and, with the offense in play, Orgeron shared an update on Anderson 's status at the request of the US. a journalist during the post-workout media session.

"(Anderson) is suspended from the football team for the year," Orgeron said.

Anderson played 19 games during his LSU career. He finished with 27 career receptions, 392 yards and a touchdown.

With Anderson sitting this season, he could take a year in a red shirt and be transferred to another college program after completing his fall classes. He may also decide to include his name in the NFL 2020 project group.

Last season, Anderson played 12 games with four starts. He had his biggest impact when he was in Baton Rouge with 20 catches for 274 yards and one touchdown. His biggest win of the year – and his career – saw the fourth and fourth quarter in the fourth and fourth quarter with eight yards on Auburn, allowing LSU to extend their game of victory. He closed the match with three catches for 41 yards.

His biggest match in LSU's uniform took place in 2018 when he caught five passes for 80 yards in a win over Louisiana Tech. He caught a pass for 10 yards against Arkansas during the SEC play, then recorded a pair of passes for 35 yards in the Citrus Bowl loss to Notre Dame.

As a freshman in 2016, Anderson played 11 games with two starts – at Auburn and against Louisville in the bowl match. He finished the year with four receptions for 73 yards, averaging 18.2 yards in his first season at college. Anderson scored 42 shots on goal in the fourth quarter against Texas A & M for a LSU touchdown, finishing the night with two shots for 59 yards against the Aggies. Anderson also had two receptions for 14 yards against Florida.

Anderson captured 46 passes for a total of 748 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior at West Mesquite High School (Texas), and then transferred to DeSoto High School for his senior season, although he did not have a chance to play. he was absent all year.

His best performances in LSU uniform include 80 yards of profit against Louisiana Tech in 2018, five catches in the same game and a touchdown against Texas A & M in 2018.
