Dell has designed a line of monitors for video conferencing

If there’s one thing the COVID-19 work-from-home boom has revealed, it’s how horrible most people’s webcams are. Dell addresses this issue with a new line of monitors specifically designed to better support video conferencing. The company is launching a trio of certified screens for Microsoft Teams, each containing a dedicated Teams button. And the focus here is on a webcam and high-quality sound, with a 5-megapixel infrared camera, two 5W speakers and a built-in noise-canceling microphone. In fact, it’s good enough that you can use Windows Hello without purchasing a fancy standalone webcam.

You can grab monitors in one of three sizes: 24, 27 (photo), and 34 inches, with the largest of the group having a curved screen. Since Dell knows you’ll be looking at these things for far too long every day, it also boasts that its ComfortView Plus system helps reduce blue light emissions without sacrificing color accuracy. All of these monitors will arrive in the United States on February 16, which will cost you $ 520 (24 inches), $ 720 (27 inches), or $ 1,150 (34 curved inches).
