Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp criticized remarks by a Democratic congressman suggesting that pro-Trump National Guards would harm President-elect Joe Biden as “completely outrageous.”
In an interview with “The Story” on Tuesday, Kemp told host Martha MacCallum that the thousands of guards deployed by Georgia and other states to help secure the inauguration were “great patriots.”
Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., Faced bipartisan sentencing Monday after telling CNN that the large number of “white males” in custody raised the possibility that they “might want to do something.”
