Democrats plan to vote on March 26 to cancel Trump's first veto

Democrats in the House are planning a vote on March 26 to cancel President Trump 's veto on a bill to revoke the emergency declaration on his wall.

A senior democrat assistant confirmed the date Washington Examiner.

This date was revealed just before Trump could veto the bill to revoke his emergency declaration. Trump said it is urgent to allow the transfer of $ 3.6 billion from a military construction budget to an effort to build physical barriers along the southern border.

The vote of annulment of the House will probably fail. Only 13 Republicans voted in favor of the resolution to revoke the national emergency and about 50 Republicans are expected to vote with the Democrats to provide the two-thirds majority required to override the veto.

In recent weeks, the White House has tweeted examples showing why there was a national emergency at the border, in order to defeat the bill to cancel its declaration.
