Demon slayer Announces the Grand Premiere of Season 2 with a New Trailer! The hugely competitive Fall 2021 animation schedule officially kicked off at the start of October, and a few new series premiered or returned for new episodes. The season is only just beginning, however, as soon as the show’s most anticipated action series debuts in a few days as well. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is finally returning for its second season, and that will likely dominate the conversation for the rest of the year.

It will also start things off in a very different way than I expected. Demon slayerThe second season of r will officially debut in Japan on October 2, but fans who might have missed the Mugen Train movie need not worry as the first episodes of this new season will kick off with a new version of the film. titular Mugen train adventure. Not only that, but the very first episode will be a brand new story following Kyojuro Rengoku investigating the train itself before getting on as seen in the movie. Check out the new trailer below:

This new trailer for Demon slayerThe second season of is our meatiest look at the new season yet, as it doesn’t just tease what we can expect from the seven episodes taking the Mugen Train arc (which will include re-edited scenes, new music and other new material setting it apart from the feature-length version of the story), but what we can hope to see after that as the second season finally heads to the all-new Entertainment District arc later this year.

Starting December 5, the second season will finally take the anime into its next major arc of Koyoharu Gotouge’s original manga series that takes Tanjiro and the others to investigate a series of mysterious rumors about the “entertainment” district. Naturally, as with the Mugen Train, this mission will lead to bigger fights, new villains, new allies, and a lot more fun. But it won’t be long before we can see it all in action for ourselves!

Demon slayerThe second season of will air on Crunchyroll and Funimation with new episodes coming out in Japan, but what do you think? Are you excited for season 2?
