Publisher Aniplex and developer CyberConnect2 posted the first screenshots of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Chronicles of Hinokami playable characters Akaza and Rui, which will be added to the game via its first free post-launch update.
Akaza and Rui are two of six free post-launch characters planned. The second update will add two more characters and the third update will add the last two.
Details regarding the release schedule for the first free post-launch update will be announced at a later date.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Chronicles of Hinokami releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on October 14 in Japan and October 15 worldwide. Learn more about the game here.
