Demon Slayer Mugen Train is the best animation of the year

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train won three awards at the 44th Academy of Japan Film Award ceremony. It won the award for the best animation of the year, the best score and the popularity award. However, all nominees receive official recognition as Excellent Animator of the Year. This year, the other nominees were: Violet Evergarden: The Movie, Chimney Town Doll, Stand By Me Doraemon 2, and Josée, the tiger and the fish.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train is the highest grossing film of all time in Japan. He broke the long-standing record held by Studio Ghibli Abducted as if by magic. Otherwise, Mugen Form has a worldwide gross amount of $ 417 million, making it the first Japanese film and the first anime film to exceed $ 400 million. The film will premiere in US and Canadian theaters on April 23, 2021, and its digital release is scheduled for June 22, 2021.
