The order of episodes for Demon Slayer ‘The second season has surfaced online! After wowing fans with its first season and feature film picking up the Mugen Train arc from Koyoharu Gotouge’s original manga series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is finally back for the second full season of the anime. The first episode of this new slate has premiered, and fans are now gearing up for a new take on the Mugen Train arc designed specifically for the TV anime. But there has been a question as to how long this new season will last.
It was previously confirmed that Demon Slayer ‘The new season would air on the Fall 2021 anime schedule and next year’s Winter 2022 schedule starting in January, so fans had assumed that meant the series would run over two episodes. Which means it could be 24 or even 26 episodes like the first season. But an order of episodes appearing online for this new season marks it considerably less than it would currently be listed with 18 episodes in total.

As spotted by @ManganiMY on Twitter, Demon slayerThe second season of is currently listed on iQIYI International with 18 episodes. Fans were hoping that meant the Entertainment District arc would be 18 episodes in addition to Mugen Train’s seven-episode arc, but that list seems to mean there will be 18 in total (which would mean 11 episodes for the Entertainment District arc starting in December). This episode order for the new season has yet to be officially confirmed, but fans hoping for a long term for Entertainment District’s brand new arc may want to brace themselves just in case.
18 episodes would make sense for the workload, however, considering the ufotable team has been working on the series pretty much constantly since that first season. This includes not only the work done on the feature film, but also the re-release of the film and the addition of new material for the TV version of the story while preparing for a full second season of the anime just a year after release. of the movie. Considering there’s still the high level of quality in the first episode that fans have come to expect, this episode order could mean higher quality anime overall.
But what do you think? Would 18 episodes be enough to Demon Slayer ‘is the new season? Are you hoping for more instead? Let us know all your thoughts on this in the comments! You can even contact me directly about anything animated and other cool stuff. @Valdezologie on Twitter!
