It’s another day on Mile High Report, which means we have another Deshaun Watson update for all Denver Broncos fans. I know how much you love them and I will strive never to disappoint!
News broke Thursday that former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz was dispatched to the Indianapolis Colts for draft picks. Soon after, various sportsbook released their updated quarterback odds for Deshaun Watson and his current team, the Houston Texans, were not at the top of the odds list. It was your Denver Broncos.
FanDuel had Denver at +150, then a large number of teams stacked with the Houston Texans (+300), Miami Dolphins (+350) and Carolina Panthers (+400) closest to the Denver odds. Another bettor had roughly the same odds as FanDuel, but the Dolphins were dead at +300 with the Texans. Denver was still in the lead at +150.
The best part about this “new information” isn’t this post I’m writing about it to anger our commentators below, but watching how many Kansas City Chiefs fans have started ringing and talking shit. Oh they’re scared, Broncos Country. They are very afraid. I like it!

They know. Denver with a franchise quarterback would challenge his title chances every year for the rest of Patrick Mahomes’ career. I’d take that and pay the number of draft picks needed to make it happen.
