LAS VEGAS – Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick and Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Isaiah Johnson were both sent off early in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game at Allegiant Stadium for fighting.
After a game in which Raiders cornerback Lamarcus Joyner was called up for a defensive outfit against KJ Hamler, Raiders safety Johnathan Abram bumped into Patrick and pushed him. Patrick retaliated by punching Abram in the face mask before Johnson punched Patrick.
The penalties were cleared, so Joyner’s call on hold was canceled due to the lack of play in a game the Raiders were leading 23-6.
Fines and suspensions for both players for throwing punches could be in sight.
