Denzel Washington and his family are safe after a fire broke out at their Los Angeles home.
Fox 11 reports that a house owned by the actor in the closed Beverly Park neighborhood was the same one that firefighters responded to on Wednesday night based on reports of smoke emanating from the second floor of the four-story structure.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reports that it investigated smoke on the property after safely evacuating all residents from the home. It is not known if the Oscar-winning actor was present at the time of the smoke investigation.
However, Washington Press Representative Alan Neirob told Fox News, “There is no fire and everyone is fine and safe.”

Officials did not discover any active fires upon arriving at the scene, but found smoke emanating from an unknown source. They used thermal cameras to confirm that there were no flames concealed in the walls and were able to trace the source of the smoke to “one of the many ovens in the house which was recently serviced.” , According to a report.
The firefighters took this furnace offline and allowed the occupants of the house to enter the residence safely before leaving the premises. No injuries were reported.
Washington is married to Pauletta Pearson, with whom he shares four children, including “Tenent” and “BlacKKKlansman” actor John David Washington. Speaking to Esquire in a recent interview, John explained that his father is a dedicated family man in addition to an award-winning actor.
