Destiny 2 Make Fights Faster Next Month – Game Rant

Destiny 2The Series 1 Gambit PvPvE Mode is set to receive a number of quality of life changes as the Gambit-themed Drifter season kicks off on March 5th in this week's developer blog, Bungie gave an overview of the changes which players can expect, that the developer says came directly from the feedback of the players.

The first change will affect the third round of Gambit if a match was to reach that final turn. Currently, the third round is essentially a repeat of the previous two rounds, but starting in season 6, the third round will be "a precipitous sudden death in Primeval". Bungie hopes it will speed things up and change things for the last lap.

Then, the appearance points for the invaders are being reworked, additional points being added and a new logic determining the location of an invader. The intent of the change is to make sure the invaders do not generate right next to or in the line of sight of the other players. This should mix the invasions a bit since, several months after the mode released with the Forsaken expansion, many players have memorized the appearance points of the invader and can almost perfectly predict or influence where they will appear.

Other upcoming changes in Gambit include a penalty for players who are AFK and who remain inactive during a match. Players who join Gambit matches for experience and rewards but do not play will not receive rewards or Infamy points.

Get the title of Dredgen in Destiny 2 can also be a little easier with a change in the Triumph "Light vs. Light" to allow progress by killing any Guardian with a super, not just invaders. Finally, the type of enemy that presents itself as a blocker and its ponds of life are adjusted for the small blockers (Tbl Goblin), medium (Taken Captain) and large (Taken Knight).

Again, these changes come into effect when season 6 begins on March 5th.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
