For the third week in a row, Destiny 2’s Trials of Osiris event has been canceled due to a technical issue. It comes as Bungie seeks to curb players engaged in “winning trading” by launching matches on purpose.
The issue this time is, according to Bungie, with the “Fireteam Rejoin feature,” which certainly appears to be the same issue as before. Osiris Trials are available on March 12, but they won’t be for the rest of the weekend.
Due to an issue with the Fireteam Rejoin feature, Trials of Osiris has been disabled for the remainder of the weekend.
We will provide updates as they become available.

Typically, this lasts for around four days, giving players the chance to get top tier gear if they achieve a clear seven-win streak. It is for this reason that players have launched games, leaving others a clear path to victory. It’s unclear how Bungie plans to stop this issue for good.
If you have already received access to The Lightouse area via a Flawless card, you will still be able to use it this weekend. You will also be able to use any of your Trials tokens during this time, so those who have already been in a seven-game winning streak seem to have been lucky this week.
As usual, Xur is still available this weekend if you’re trying to get some other powerful gear. You can still get an Exotic Engram from him that will transform into an item you don’t already own, which is worth checking back every week.
Destiny 2 players will have to wait a little longer than expected for the release of the game’s next expansion, The Witch Queen. It has been pushed back to 2022, in part because of the effect of COVID-19’s work-at-home changes on the development team and because Bungie wants to continue making systemic improvements to the game.
