Destiny 2 Release Notes: A new update can give you more free play

Just two weeks before the release of Destiny 2's new Shadowkeep expansion, Bungie has released a new update for the game. Patch 2.5.2.3 is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and although the full list of ratings patch is quite short, it can be very good news.

The first step is the release of previously paid downloadable content for more players. If you have the Forsaken extension, you can now access all the contents of the Annual Pass. This decision comes before the launch of Destiny 2: New Light, a new version of the free game that will provide access to much of the Destiny 2 experience without paying a dime. But in the meantime, Forsaken's owners suddenly have access to a multitude of new content, including Black Armory Forges, Gambit Prime / Reckoning and the Menagerie, which is currently distributing bonus rewards through the recent March community event. .

The other change in this update concerns the aforementioned Reckoning. This PvE mode is linked to Gambit Prime because it earns special armor that allows for specific benefits to a role in Gambit Prime. Bungie has already acknowledged that Reckoning was suffering from many problems that had resulted in an unpleasant experience. Recent changes have been made to make the experience less frustrating.

This continues in this patch because all negative modifiers have now disappeared from Reckoning. You will no longer be confronted with a lack of radar, an increase in enemy melee damage, and so on. This is in addition to the recent change to facilitate the management of enemies and ensure a more equitable distribution of rewards.
