Last year, we introduced you to the Galaxy View 2, successor to the 18-inch monstrosity of a 2015 tablet, the Galaxy View. In a series of renderings obtained by SamMobile, we now have an overview of this "light" suite.

Through the rendering, the Galaxy View 2 drops the integrated handle of its predecessor, although it also has a crutch – adjustable up to 30 degrees – and a hole in the center for better grip. hand. The size of the screen is reduced to 17.3 inches, although the resolution remains unknown (our source had suggested to keep the 1080p resolution of the Galaxy View). The renderings show an AT & T logo on the back of the device, corroborating our message again.

With regard to interns, SamMobile refers to a Geekbench list for the model number SM-T927A, who mentioned an Exynos 7884 7885 SoC and 3GB of RAM, similar specifications to the mid-range Galaxy A8 from last year. The price details remain unknown, although I do not think the price will be different than the original Galaxy View at $ 599.

I had laughed at the oversized 18-inch Galaxy View, but some really enjoyed this size, calling it the perfect kitchen appliance. That said, in a world characterized by Google Home hubs and Lenovo smart screens, I wonder if a full Android tablet remains the ideal device for this use case.
