It looks like Marvel has not spoiled anything by announcing Tom Hiddleston Loki series as it would seemingly be a prequel.
In an article published by The Hollywood Reporter, the new showrunner of the next series was revealed, as well as the apparent plot of the series. According to the report, the series will follow Loki as he appears through human history, transforming the world unexpectedly. There is no word on the time periods that this may encompass or, but given the Nordic inspiration behind the character, it may be safe to assume that a good deal of it will be in Europe.
