Interim Detroit Lions Head Coach Darrell bevell REALLY messed up on his first day of work … he spoiled his daughters’ marriage proposals in an epic mistake with the reporters !!
Bevell was explaining to members of the media during a Zoom call on Monday why he had such a great weekend … when he revealed this, in addition to being named Matt patriciaThe replacement, two of her daughters’ boyfriends asked her permission to go ahead with marriage proposals.
One of the future sons-in-law did it in a hilarious way … Bevell – whose daughter plays softball for BYU – says they were batting practice when the BF took a ball right in his eye.
Bevell says when the dude was getting sewn up in the emergency room … he actually asked if it would be OK to marry the coach’s daughter.
Cool story, right? But the problem … telling all this to reporters on a live broadcast call – HE RUINED THE SURPRISE FOR HIS DAUGHTERS !!!
Bevell seemed to realize his flaw towards the end of his diary, telling members of the media, “The two guys who asked for my permission, they haven’t officially asked them yet. So, this is where it was. It was just a permission. “
