Without delay, David Fales finds Justin Stockton for a 13-yard gain. Fales rushes off the field in midfield with 25 seconds to go.

1:57 – Houston Texans start on Detroit 36
Buddy Howell continues to move the chains for the Texans as he begins the race with a 10-yard run. That gives him 81 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries at this point.
The Lions forced the Texans to finish fourth and five to 57 seconds from the end. Detroit is no longer idle while Houston still has two. Fairbairn scores another goal, this time from 39 yards to make it Texans 30, Lions 23
2:46 pm Detroit Lions start with mark 14
David Fales throws from his own goal zone but finds Jonathan Duhart on a 28-yard pass. A fall from Isaac Nauta marks the start of the match and there are 10 left at 2:08 of the match. Fales spills slightly Deon Alexander and takes fourth place. Jerome Cunningham ends the race with another drop for the Lions, who record a turnaround.
6:22 – Houston Texans start alone 42
QB rookie Jordan Ta'amu bows out in the game for the Texans.
Houston hits after throwing the ball on five of the six games to cut the time.
8:37 AM Detroit Lions start with 25
David Fales finds Brandon Powell on a 21-yard pass to begin training. Houston cornerback Chris Johnson is injured in the game. Things are resuming where Fales has stopped with a 14-yard pass for Isaac Nauta. Zach Zenner ran 14 yards before Fales found Powell for a 15-yard gain. It's three games, first three tries for Lions.
The series continues as Fales strikes Deontez Alexander for a 15-yard touchdown pass. (game in the study) Officials said Alexander was out of the end zone.
Second-year midfielder Mark Thompson scored for Detroit in the next play. Houston's linebacker, Jamal Davis II, is injured at the game. After the extra point, Texans 27, Lions 23
2:49 pm – Houston Texans start alone 18
An offensive pass interference starts the race for Houston on a deep Webb shot for Tyron Johnson. Chad Hansen, impressive, clings to the third and twelfth side lines to keep the Texans alive.
Houston makes another third run on Jordan Thomas for 14 yards. Running back Buddy Howell advances to give Houston another first goal on third base.
Howell adds two more first runs while the Texans walk on the field at a methodical pace. Florida Atlantic sophomore scored second and goal after four straight races to make it Texans 27, Lions 16
Third quarter
4:06 am Detroit Lions start on the 15th
Travis Fulgham with another first-strike shot for Detroit to preserve the Fales attack. Back-to-back penalties put the Lions with a 2nd and 34 of his 12 goals. Ryan Santoso starts playing bales again after the coach has escaped following the punishments.
6:52 am – Houston Texans start alone 25
Not much for Webb and the Texans after Detroit's long effort to tighten things up.
9:40 am Detroit Lions start at 6 (illegal two-team block called back)
After the penalty return, Detroit begins deep in his own territory. The first postponement of Zach Zenner's night is minus-1. Travis Fulgham has an impressive catch after a fit to allow quarterback David Fales to start the day with a 35-yard pass.

Josh Johnson is still in the quarter to allow the Lions to start the second half. After three games, the punt goes on the field for the fifth time.

Webb nailed in the backfield while he throws, but still finds catcher Steven Mitchell Jr. for a 28-yard gain in the brand's first game. It looks like Amani Oruwariye is going to be called for defensive pass interference on another deep ball for Mitchell Jr.
Matt Patricia challenges the interfered appeal – the decision is upheld after a quick official review. Penalty moves the ball 36 yards to the first goal.

Webb was unable to connect with Tyron Johnson on a deep ball that would have easily moved the chains. The Lions defense was saved by what appeared to be a reversal after two awesome Reeves-Maybin games.
1:29 pm – Detroit Lions car starts autonomously 17
Josh Johnson stays in the post as the Lions try to get things done.
Texan midfielder Derrick Baity is called for defensive pass interference on a deep ball for Lewis, who advances the ball for 42 yards in Detroit. Rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson is then called for an illegal lock back play the next game in order to roll back the ball 15 yards.

Webb found Tyron Johnson in the middle for a 16-yard gain before hitting Jordan Thomas on a 3-yard pass to end the first frame.
3:31 – Detroit Lions start independently 29
Two litters for CJ Anderson put the Lions in a third and fourth place. Following a failed and an offensive penalty, the Lions have not yet managed to fail for the first three attempts .
4:27 – Houston Texans start alone 29
Detroit's defense got three shots on goal after two incomplete passes and a two-yard run from former University of Michigan's outstanding player, Karan Higdon. For those looking for a good share of Detroit, rookie linebacker Jahlani Tavai has already participated in four tackles.
5:24 AM Detroit Lions start with 22
Josh Johnson is back in the Lions Center. Three more defeats for the offense after what appeared to be a small communication error between quarterback and receiver Tommylee Lewis in the third try.
7:50 am – Houston Texans start on Lions 49
And with that, Watson's night is over and Joe Webb enters the game and immediately takes a deep shot at receiver Vyncint Smith. Webb was the only quarterback to have played for the Texans in the opening team's first game (a 28-26 loss to Green Bay).

Josh Johnson, recently signed, is the starting quarterback of the Lions.
Kerryon Johnson started with a 5-yard run before Johnson recovered the ball to return to Detroit 11 after being sacked by Whitney Mercilus. An incomplete pass to Chris Lacy leads Martin out of his own goal zone. Three-and-out.
3:00 pm – Houston Texans start alone after Sam Martin's return
Deshaun Watson quickly found his pace as the Texans have already passed the midfield in less than two minutes. Houston's starting quarterback is 4-on-4 for 56 yards in his first action of the new season.
After a fourth unsuccessful attempt, the Lions defense was called for an illegal substitution to give the Texans a goal and a goal. At third base, Watson found his favorite target, DeAndre Hopkins, on a 2-yard pass. Texans 7, Lions 0
