Detroit workers force GM to remove Mexican-made blazer

Currently, the UAW is struggling to maintain as many jobs as possible at factories in the United States, instead of sending them to Mexico, where the workforce is generally cheaper. The UAW had fought but had finally lost the battle to build the Blazer that was reborn in the United States. Therefore, carrying a new Blazer in an all-American baseball park was probably not the best idea. GM, however, had no bad intentions when he initially decided to post the Blazer.

He simply sees the crossover as a new vehicle in a hot segment and displaying it at Comerica Park would have been an excellent show. Many union members did not see it that way. GM has defended its decision to post the Blazer before deciding it would be better to trade it with the Traverse.
