A Apex Legends The developer has provided an update on the long-awaited Leaderboards feature with both good news and bad news. Although there are many features Apex Legends players on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S want to see added to the game, the leaderboards are a long standing leaderboard and the game developers have hinted that it will be added in the future, but so far these clues have not been realized.
That said, this week, Chin Xiang Chong, the game’s lead designer, provided a feature update. The good news is that the team haven’t forgotten about the leaderboards, which remain on the list of things they’d like to do. Bad news doesn’t seem to be at the top of this list.
“Yes, it’s on a list of things we would like to do,” Chong said. “Unfortunately, the list is very long and time and resources are limited, so it ultimately comes down to priorities, and unfortunately compared to, say, cross-play, it was a lower priority.

Sadly, that’s all Chong has to say about the functionality. In other words, even if it seems to be coming, it is not known when it will happen. At this point, however, it’s safe to assume that he won’t drop during Season 8.
