Devil's Hunt Review – This devil is crying really

[ad_1]

Remember when The witcher is out, a game developed by Polish developers based on a Polish book? What made the popular book series in America and made it appear here? I believe that seeing this success is how Devil's hunt has come about. Polish developers tackle another series of Polish books to increase its popularity. But is it a heck that is really worth being chased? Or should you go for something else?

I've already forgotten everyone's name

the criticism of the devil hunt funny man

Who is this guy?

You play the role of Desmond Pierce, who is having a very bad day. His father fired him of his indefinite work, he lost his underground fight in a street, and he went home to find his best friend fucking his fiancé. Unable to cope with the chain of bad events, Desmond drives his car from a bridge, killing himself and ending up in hell. Fortunately, Lucifer reveals his identity as a mythical character known as the Savior and Destroyer. Now that this is known, he can come back to life and spend time on Earth provided he gathers souls. Soon, Desmond finds himself choosing a camp in a war between paradise and hell.

In theory, this perfectly perfect premise could lead to an interesting drama. In practice, this only leads to a mess of absolutely stupid nonsense. The characters seem to exist in a revolving door of constant death and rebirth with little rhyme or reason. At least four different people betray Desmond, and then betray the person for whom they betrayed. Some even repeat the process for good measure. There are always new characters appearing, and none serves a real purpose. At one point, a giant snake eats Desmond, then the snake's head explodes and it reappears on the ground as if nothing had happened. Nobody ever comments on this.

Devil's hunt is based on a book titled Balanced by the author Paweł Leśniak. As it is the first book of a trilogy, Devil's hunt ends on an unlikely cliffhanger. However, there is something even more confusing than all these nonsense of history. Devil's hunt pretends to be 13 chapters long, but there are actually only 12. The reason for this? Chapter 10 does not exist. You have finished chapter 9 and start with 11. I went to the chapter selection screen to check. Of course, there is no option for 10. For my life, I can not tell if it's an intentional design decision or a glitch. Even stranger, I can not say if something is missing in the story. All this is so absurd that an entire chapter may be missing and I have not even noticed it.

 combat devil hunting review

I hope you like this punch because you will see it often.

Sadly, Devil's huntThe action game in the third person does not save it either. Desmond has a light attack and a heavy attack and three different combat positions. However, there is no real difference between these fighting styles apart from the visual elements. None of them is stronger or weaker than the others. Desmond hits people in one strike and in another, he strikes and occasionally pulls a sword out of the hammer space. Whatever the case may be, it takes the same number of attacks to defeat enemies.

The real difference between styles presumably comes from the abilities they acquire. Each style can equip three unique abilities from five choices. The executor's abilities consist mainly of inflicting significant direct damage, while Unholy suffers more ranged attacks, while Void focuses on crowd control. At least that's how it works in theory. In practice, I rarely disconnect Executor. His ridiculously mastered abilities kill everything effortlessly. Once you have a rash, you discover that the damage to all nearby enemies is essentially hurt and you wonder why you do not want to use anything else.

Even if you choose not to use the abilities, the fights are a kid's game. Light attacks smother most enemies, so you can put an end to almost every fight by spamming them. In the end, Desmond manages to extract a soul from an enemy and kill him instantly. Even if I do not use it in group fights because of the time it takes, in a face to face, it makes the whole thing hilarious. In a short time, each fight became spam, an overpowering skill between the brewing of the light attack button. Sometimes you get a prompt to use a finisher, but they are usually pretty boring. Unless you want to see some awesome finishers such as "Desmond hits a guy in the face four times" and "Desmond's hands awkwardly smash someone's chest."

Please, let me get where I have to go

the head of the devil hunter review

He has a health bar. It means he is hard.

If you do not fight, you walk. You walk a lot. There are vast expanses of nothing for ten minutes The hunt for the devil, as if the game needed a thick layer of padding. Here again, there is no platform or puzzle solution. Just walk from point A to point B, sometimes pressing an interaction button to flick it up and down. From time to time, you stand at a specific place and look for a place to teleport. These segments are blatant redundancy, trying to overtake the clock whenever they can. It took me about 7 hours to finish Devil's hunt. At least two of those hours consisted of walking aimlessly. Fortunately, although these sections appear frequently in the first half of the game, they disappear in Chapter 7.

From time to time, you meet a boss. Many boss fights are so ridiculously easy that they become laughable. I'm not sure that the first four leaders even have attacks. Many of them seem to stand there and let themselves be caught. The last bosses are at least trying to fight, but none of them really do much. However, for reasons I do not understand, hurting the bosses was fatal. Many times I was hit and their health bars did not move at all. There was no action or action I missed. Bosses just have long images of useless invincibility at random times and I could not understand how or why.

This may be one of the many problems I encountered while playing. Devil's hunt. This game has problems. Many of them. From the crash of the game if I kept it paused too long, to cut off the audio sometimes when I change the tab. Many times, the enemy AI found itself stuck, leaving my enemies do nothing. The audio would be cut during the scenes, the lines would not be accompanied by any subtitles. Lucifer's description was completely absent from the game's database. The skills fail to unlock in the skill tree, but I still lost souls trying to buy them. My favorite problem is when suddenly Desmond said her lines at a speed 5 times higher, resembling a bloody chipmunk. This weird speech is the most fun I've had with Devil's hunt.

 review of devil hunting angel

Ah, angels on the roofs. Of course. This is where they go.

Devil's hunt is a video game that does not do anything interesting. It's not unique, and worse, it's not fun. I guess it makes me want to read the series of books, but more to see if it's a burning wreck. Do not hunt that devil. He's crying for sure.
