Devolver Digital launches new trailer for Olija

Before Olija released next week, the folks at Devolver Digital decided to release a new trailer for the game. We’ve seen and heard things about the game since late 2018, as the game has been in development for a long time and has even pushed back the release date to January 28 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that we approach the official release of the game next Thursday, we have a better look at the story behind the game. This particular trailer will give you some of your clues to the wonders that await you in Terraphage Land. Learn about the dire circumstances that befallen the penniless and now stranded Lord Faraday, and finally see how his fortunes have changed course after a chance encounter with the enigmatic Lady Olija. Olija is a game about the quest of Faraday, a man shipwrecked then trapped in the mysterious land of Terraphage. Armed with a legendary harpoon, he and other castaways attempt to leave this hostile country to return to their homeland. Through adventurous exploration, storytelling and sharp combat, the player will discover a strange world and its inhabitants, including Olija, an enigmatic woman to whom Faraday finds himself linked over time. Inspired by storytelling and cinematic adventure games, Olija is a story about facing the unknown in adversity.
