DALLAS – As storms spread in northern Texas, the threat of severe weather has decreased for the DFW area, but persistent storms are possible in the early evening. Strong storms are still possible in eastern North Texas until the evening. Strong winds and big hail are the main threats, but tornadoes are possible.

As storms pass through northern Texas, many areas are being monitored by tornadoes, some areas are still under the sign of flood warnings, with hail the size of a quarter possible .

Winds up to 62 mph have been reported at DFW International Airport. At least seven high-water rescue operations have been reported in Fort Worth and at least 22 car accidents in Dallas and nine in Fort Worth, while other areas have reported power outages, floods and hail in various parts of the DFW.

Rangers game
Texas Rangers home game against St. Louis Cardinals was delayed by the rain at 5:15 pm Start time.
Flight delays / cancellations
DFW International:
All flights arriving at DFW International have been delayed by an average of about one hour and four minutes, but they are starting to regain their operational status. No specific delay to the destination was reported, but general departures were delayed on average by at least 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Love Field also has significant delays for departures and arrivals: 35 minutes for arrivals, with a total of 102 late departures.
