Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been linked for years and the duo did nothing to counter the rumors Monday night, as they appeared together at the Met Gala in New York.
The pair posed for photos, too, fueling talk that they're really an article. The stars have not officially made their debut on the red carpet at this fashionable event because they have not really walked together. But apparently, they arrived one with the other, as evidenced by various photos and videos of Instagram's designer Zac Posen's story, which show Foxx and Holmes in the same car.
Posen designed the Holmes dress, a tailored purple and lavender tulle dress. Foxx opted for a traditional black suit, tie and purple shoes, matching Holmes' outfit.
Although they may have dropped out of the red carpet, Foxx, 51, and Holmes, 40, have already posed for paparazzi once in the event.
Over the years, tabloid newspapers have had a busy day watching whether the Oscar winner and the former Dawson's Creek actress get along well.
Holmes, of course, was previously married to Tom Cruise, who, paradoxically, played alongside Foxx in "Collateral", released in 2004 about a year before Cruise began dating. They were engaged not even two months later and were married in November 2006, seven months after hosting their daughter Suri. The couple divorced in August 2012.
Foxx has two daughters, one born in 1994 and one born in 2009. The identity of mothers is not clear.
In 2013, rumors that Holmes and Foxx were a couple began to surface and they have been seen together over the years, but they have never publicly addressed their relationship or confirmed whether they were dating or not.
