The new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ will be on the store shelves this Friday and the announcement of Apple's big iPhone 11 is expected to unfold in less than three weeks starting Sept. 10. OnePlus has launched a new OnePlus 7T series and the next Huawei Mate 30 Pro will become one of the most powerful Android phones in the world. In addition to all this, the Samsung Galaxy Fold will finally come out next month – maybe – and the foldable Huawei Mate X will also be on sale before the end of the year. In short, the second half of 2019 is full of high-end smartphone launches, which could be the most impressive smartphone collection we've ever seen.
We have been in storage for a few months, but another long-awaited series of smartphones is expected to debut in the coming months and we have not even mentioned it yet. That's right, we're talking about Google's new Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, and the new Pixel flagship phones are poised to become Google's most exciting smartphones to date. Google has already confirmed the design of the back of the phone in a strange gesture earlier this summer, and a pair of leaked photos earlier this month shows the Pixel 4 in nature, confirming the design of the front of the new Google Pixels. However, these photos were small and fuzzy. Fortunately, there is a new video that is close to Google's new generation Pixel 4 design.
Thanks to leaks and rumors, we know a lot about the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL although they are not marketed until October. BGR has uniquely revealed several key specifications of Pixel 4 in a report last month. Both phones will have 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and we know that there will be a storage option of 128GB for each model. The smaller Pixel 4 will have a screen with a resolution of 2280 x 1080, which indicates that the display will be slightly larger than the 2160 x 1080 screen of the Pixel 3. The Pixel 4 XL will have a display of 3040 x 1440 pixels, compared to the 2960 x 1440 screen of the Pixel 3 XL. A subsequent report revealed that both phones would have 12-megapixel and 16-megapixel wide-angle rear-view camera sensors, and that the battery size would be 2,800 mAh for Pixel 4 and 3,700 mAh for Pixel 4 XL.
In terms of design, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will be Google's first smartphones to integrate multi-lens cameras at the back, which is certainly a big step forward in the modernization of design. Unfortunately, the modernization stops there because the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL will always have big bevels above and below their displays. Of course, reading about it is one thing, but seeing it is much better.
Using all the leaks we've seen so far, YouTuber Waqar Khan has created images of Pixel 4 that are supposed to be accurate. The pink hue might be a little more intense than in real life, but Pixel 4's black and white renderings in the video below are supposed to be very accurate representations of what we can expect when Google unveils the new pixel. 4 and Pixel 4 XL next October.
