ANAHEIM, California – As Disneyland remains closed during the coronavirus pandemic, Disney announced new holidays on Monday for managerial, salaried and scheduled employees at the Anaheim station.

According to a letter from Disneyland President Ken Potrock.

Holidays do not apply to Walt Disney World or any other Disney corporation. Those affected began to be notified on Monday.

While the resort has been able to slowly reopen some areas such as downtown Disney and plan for more dining and shopping on Buena Vista Street from Disney California Adventure, “the state’s recently released guidelines let us know. are in limbo regarding a reopening schedule for the foreseeable future, ”Potrock said in his letter.

“These decisions and actions are tough – and we’re committed to helping our teams get through this and, most importantly, getting people back to work where we can,” he added.

The announcement comes after Disney announced in September that it would lay off approximately 28,000 employees in its Parks, Experiences and Products division.

The Walt Disney Co. is the parent company of this station.
