Disney is in talks to acquire Hulu's stake in WarnerMedia – GeekTyrant

Disney continues its quest for world conquest. Recent reports indicate that the acquisition of 21st Century Fox will most likely complete in the first half of March and that Disney is now looking to take more control of Hulu. At present, Disney holds 30% of Hulu, 21st Century Fox, 30%, Comcast / NBCUniversal, 30% and WarnerMedia (owned by AT & T), 10%. After the acquisition of Fox, Disney will hold 60% of the capital and now discusses the acquisition of the stake of WarnerMedia. WarnerMedia had already talked about selling its 10%, and now it seems the House of Mouse is trying to take advantage of it.

AT & T is looking to sell its 10% since the launch of its own streaming service at the end of the year. It does not stop Disney as they launch Disney + later this year. I imagine that they want control of Hulu for a larger part of their content (and content to be acquired soon) aimed at older audiences, such as dead Pool. The problem is that AT & T certainly knows how important their 10% is to Disney, so I'm sure they'll get a nice amount of money.
